As my MFA thesis project, I researched, wrote, illustrated, and designed this book on color. Color is a fundamental element in graphic design, it defines form and communicates feeling. Color theory has provided systems for working with color. This book explores the history of color, the science and perception of color, color pedagogy from the Bauhaus, color associations, and the development of a system to explore the effect of color quantity and context in my studio.
